I was a bartender for years. Talking to drunk people is one thing, putting a drunk guy in a choke hold and throwing him out the door is another thing. I’ve found it always best to just handle them before it gets to that point. As a bartender

I was on a bus a few weeks ago during summer, I sat behind this guy on a bus who reeked of alcohol, which should have been a warning to me but he was quiet. But then he started getting belligerent verbally to himself. He said how about I throw a drink in your face, he threw alcohol just past me and I was terrified as he left. Controlling adrenaline is not easy. Btw do you have any experiences with substances being thrown at you?

I was always taught if I can't see his hands then he's to close. Strike first. I would rather go home to my wife safely and deal with court than make her a widow

avoid striking them? Boo. you have other security around you that swear he swung first. Bouncing is alot different than a random street drunk encounter
