The eye of Hurricane Beryl is nearing Jamaica. The worst of the weather from Hurricane Beryl will be on the southern side of the island where winds could gust over 100mph. Heavy rain, flash flooding and storms surge will also be likely. Hurricane Beryl will then make its way to the Cayman islands and Yucatan peninsula before heading to Mexico or Texas early next week.

Be safe everyone. Looking very nasty for Jamaica. The eyewall going to get very close if not scrape the southern end of the island. That's where the 140 mph winds are. Watching closely. - Jonathan

  • Jonathan, I am in SALTILLO in the northeast of Mexico, I just came from my house in HOUSTON. Thank you for all your precise and to the point information. Many people from the northeast of Mexico are watching you, but most of them, do not know how to write back to you in English, but they understand everything, and they told me to express their apreciation to your explanations.
