Hi Tank Nuts! We hope you enjoyed reliving some of David Fletcher's Tank Chats. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

"Was actually coined by, whatsisname, uhh.....Field Marshal Montgomery" 😂 love this man
-
David's right about the conqueror being noisy, you could hear them coming down the Tank Rd in Osnabrück for miles, the whole road shook as they passed. We kids loved them and often cycled down to the Tank Park in Dodesheide just to watch them.

A thirty-nine minute tank chat hosted by Mr. Fletcher? Yes please! Sign me up!
-
The FV4005 really looks like a comically upgunned KV2.
-
That's my dad at 30:50 (Bottom, far right) "Jim" he served out in West Germany. He always had lots of stories to tell about his time with the biggest tank in the world!
-
Always a pleasure to chat with Mr. Fletcher .
-
Doesn't matter if I've seen these again. I just like listening to Fletcher talk about tanks.
-
We have a conqueror at the Gunfire museum in Brasschaat Belgium. I did a short video on it a couple of years ago. If ok with the tank museum YT channel manager (reply to this post), I'll post a link in the comment - not looking for free publicity. It's the biggest tank we have in the museum and I love it because it's just so massive.
-
Mr. Fletcher is a gem to listen to. Throughly enjoyed this
-
David Fletcher is an international treasure!
-
Tank Santa has blessed us with an early Christmas gift I see. Glad to see David again.
-
That was a 40 minute treat with David Fletcher. Loved this. I was not familiar with Conquerer at all before this video. It reminds me a bit of the M48 Patton. Long overdue a visit to Bovington!
-
Good to hear David Fletcher again, he has a wealth of information and anecdotes on tanks.
-
That FIRST tank would be dangerous against Naval Vessels cruising too close to shore!!🤪
-
I miss Tank Chats with David, I hope he does well.
-
I love tank chats with David Fletcher ! Miss him !
-
I thought for a moment you had Mr Fletcher back on the team. This is a treat nevertheless.
-
Always a pleasure to see the master discussing tanks!

The 6th man in the TOG2 was responsible for managing the internal pub and making the tea and biscuits.
