The fact that there's no music covering up or distracting from what's happening makes this scene THAT much better
  • You know you’re fucked when the men with 4 green eyes kick in your door.

I was in Afghanistan when this happened. When they told us he was dead there was no cheering or partyin or anything like that. We just looked at each other and asked, "So what, are we going home now?" We all knew the answer was no so it was back to patrols and the everyday BS of infantry life.

Seeing this in the movie theater with that sound design was one of the most intense moments in the film

My favorite part is when Chris Pratt said “it’s zero dark thirtying time”

The way Seal Team Six operates is terrifying. They know exactly who is going to be there, who everyone is, WHERE everyone is. they even call out their names to trick them. And when they’re there, it’s too late to surrender. I can’t imagine how the real force operates

6:06 I've always thought that this was the most interesting part of the scene. Not sure if this is based on what really happened or if it was just added for dramatic flair. When the MI is yelling through the bullhorn in Arabic (?) for the crowd to stay back, they continued forward. When the MI sees that it doesn't seem to be working, he shouts "Go back! They will kill you!" in English and the crowd stops. As if when the MI was speaking Arabic the thought it was just some local militia, etc. but when he started yelling in English they realized "Oh shit. These are Americans."

0:32 Just the way they call to him is just terrifying. "Come out, come out, wherever you are!"

i like how when the Team Leader turned his light on, he still shot him two more times, and another teammate said "shit" and shot him as well. one for good measure.
  • I love when movies do the sound of suppressors right. Any self respecting gun person knows they do not make a gun silent and when movies do it, it’s just so cringe. This movie was absolutely a golden production.
  • Bin Laden knew this day would come, but didn't expect it to end like this.
  • I'll never forget when this happened, I woke up to it on the news. Then in school, they made an announcement after we did the pledge of allegiance and all the classrooms were cheering. I'm so proud to be an American.

7:07 can’t even imagine the fear of only seeing four little dots coming from the NV goggles lens

Hakim is underrated in this scene. He works for the US military but he still loves his people and is simply trying to let them know to get back, till the point where he speaks English in his last attempt for them to understand. "They will kill you." Some how they understood his plea. In a scene that is full of death, there still respect for human life. Bravo Hakim.

I love how I found out through the WWE. John Cena announced it. The biggest part of my childhood United the country by its announcement alone. It was a wonderful moment.
  • I'm curious to know by any military personnel or anyone that knows the answer as to whether or not they are able to suppress the sound of their weapons as much as they do in this movie. I did appreciate the fact that a couple of guys put in a few additional rounds into the possible jackpot.
