Liquid Tension Experiment's "Acid Rain" (bass cover)

See me at rontavalin.com/ for all things prog bass!
Hello YouTube Land!
I have been really wanting to cover LTE's "Acid Rain" for years, and, after finishing my last Porcupine Tree cover, I thought, "Why not now?" I've spent 3 weeks getting this one under my fingers and I am proud that the hard work has paid off. I hope you give it a listen from start to finish as it took a lot to learn, and even more to play it. It is "B" string heavy, and I wanted to punch-out the tonal ambiguities that Tony Levin's "Chapman Stick" incorporates, so every note here is either chorded, finger-plucked or tapped. I tried to keep much of the Stick's tone, but I take a few liberties to help the bass pop, tone-wise. I hope you enjoy it; please check out the other prog offerings on my channel, take care, and subscribe or leave a thumb's up. Thank you for watching!

Epic!

Tony Levin would be hard-pressed to play this on regular bass at this speed.

Super epic. Such a busy song, and then it's also originally played on a chapman stick. Respect :)
