The biolizard vs shadow battle used to always give me problems in the Dreamcast version. Sometimes after you get a hit, you would land straight into the biolizard's pee and die. In the GameCube version I see they fixed that.

Tips for beating the bosses faster: BIG FOOT- Once Sonic has the Bounce Bracelet, just spam the bounce attack. King Boom Boo- Once you punch the ghost after he exits the ground, keeping chasing him, but stay close to the inner part of the circle. You should be able to catch up to him and punch him in mid-run. Sonic vs. Shadow (ARK)- Charge up your spin dash and let your opponent get ahead of you. Once he stops, he'll be wide open to attack. Let go and let him have it. You might get hurt by their special move, though, so be careful.

in the dark version of shadow vs Sonics first battle, omochao says you won't be able to jump attack him, you jump attacked him and hit him straight away xD

When the GUN Mech names come up, if look closely and slow down the video, you can see the description of the machines' weapons, armor, and other stuff. Pretty neat attention to detail, SEGA.
