  • Man, i wish someone would confront Warren in a stern and biblical way. He is waaayyy off course with his doctrine
  • "We shouldn't fight without crying" yes! I believe that is Jesus's heart for the world! You can give without loving but you cannot love without giving! Jesus let your love flow from us as we humbly seek after You!
  • Thanks John Piper for clearing things up. I think Rick Warren has been called by God for this generation. Pastor Warren is a humble man who only seeks to Glorify God in his calling. Pastor Warren, you spoke beautifully. My prayers are with you brother. Yes, I admire the both of you as great pillars of the Church. God's grace be with you both
  • As a believer growing up in a doctrinally centered bible teaching church, I must admit the image of Pastor Warren was somewhat impaired. I was very impressed by his theological grounding. I learned a lot of things about him that I did not know, which reflected well on him as a pastor and a child of God. Thank you for the humility to explain yourself, the net result was a conscious decision on my part to read and listen to your books/sermons in the future, where it previously was not a priority. May God use it to conform me into the image of His Son.

"By this all men will know you are my disciples, if you love one another." -John 13:35 Thank you John Piper for clearing the air. ❤
  • Man, this is so awesome to watch. I am learning a great deal about doctrine but also about character. My spirit is so lifted to see these two Christian leaders to come together in such good nature for His Will.
  • “It’s not about you,” is probably one of the best indicators that someone understands the gospel. If he believes that the glory goes to Jesus and not himself, then something is working.

Tremendous interview!... Love both of these men of God.... Grateful that God is the only one that can judge the hearts and Ministries of such leaders in ministry. Thanks for all you do.
  • @solemncare
I absolutely love this video and John's approach to confronting such doctrinal controversies surrounding other believers.
  • @busybee4436
Piper had a captive audience with Warren, the perfect scenario to share the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ with him.

I saw gentleness and humility. I am blessed to be able to watch this. May Jesus our Lord be glorified.
  • I am so pleased that this hour and a half interview gave Rick Warren the opportunity to reveal his heart for the Lord and the lost. Critics? Stop serving the Accuser of the Brethren and instead serve the Savior of the Brethren.

This was by far the best interview I’ve ever seen. It’s so refreshing to see two very prominent leaders in Christianity discuss their journey and challenge each other so gracefully without destroying their character. It reminds me of how Paul and Peter used to challenge each other. Praise God for these inspiring men!
  • @AnAn-wp5rk
My two fav pastors in one? That’s one happy Godly meal for me! So much love ! Thank you God🙏
  • @wisedyes
This blesses my heart. "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!"
  • Ive seen YouTube clips slandering Christian ministers. People will spend so much time making videos that show no love or mercy towards leaders who don't teach what they agree with. As I read the scripture we are to reprove but in LOVE through scripture. I really appreciate John Piper setting a good example and sitting down with Rick Warren to address concern with humility and gentleness. I think instead of calling someone out by making videos that show no real concern but to deliberately slander a person we should pray for them and pray that God will bring them back to the truth or put someone in their path that can speak to them personally in the biblical way. Too many are proclaiming to be watchman but do not walk in the fruit of the Spirit. We all need to be careful because anyone of us can stumble, for me personally I would rather be reprove someone who really loves and cares for me than someone who is just out to get me.

What a blessing this video has been to me. Thank you for sharing this awesome interview.

Love the genuineness and truth-oriented discussion of the two despite their different background. Such scrutinizing discussion could only have been done because of mutual love for the Lord and confidence in the truth of the Word of God. Blessed. :)
