he wrote 75-80% of the songs, and he was the most influential punk bassist of all time, johnny is also the most influential guitarist of all time, but he couldn't write songs like Dee Dee. I love all the ramones though, the real ramones joey, johnny, and dee dee RIP!!

under appreciated artist when he was alive. he wrote the bulk of the ramones best songs. his legacy lives on- i see kids still wear ramones t-shirts more today than back when he was around. he influenced fashion too - main stream kids they dress like him and have his hairstyle-they just don't know it.

It's all my fault! I've been listening to this for months. Now I know exactly what it looked like. This is great! Such a great writer and performer. No comparison to Sid Vicious. He produced so many good songs & really hung in there. Dee Dee Ramone Forever!!!
