Well if it would have been me I'd have gotten a ticket.

The officer did his job. The court can review the case. They're the ones who convict people.

What kind of Journalism is this where they don't tell us how fast she was going and what the speed limit was or did she run a red light or what ... ? They assume we already know this story when they should just recap it again briefly so we can come to our own conclusions

So the mayor wanted the cop to lie to her??

I think the cop was just doing his job. They made him out to be the bad guy and he treated her like any other person. All he knows is that she was probably speeding or ran a red light (of course Inside Edition doesn't tell us that) so he pulled her over. I'm not saying she doesn't have the right to be upset, but what is he suppose to do? The paparazzi has always taken pictures of people in a public setting. Plus, we all have cell phones and take pictures. Just because she's a celebrity he still has to investigate and write a ticket.

Pay for security... she can afford it.. if she was breaking laws while driving she needs to get ticketed

This is ridiculous! Who she is doesn't matter whatsoever!! If she's breaking traffic laws, she deserves to be pulled over & possibly get a ticket! Was the officer supposed to give her a hug wish her a happy day??

That cop was polite and did his job, his boss is a coward for throwing him under the bus! Sounds like she needs to hire a bodyguard

If that were anybody else it wouldn't have made the news. The mayor wouldn't have cared. Only due to being a celebrity. She's an actor and can cry on command.

What was she even pulled over for? They want us to feel sorry for her but if she was going crazy on the road, she can't just get a free pass

She chose that life. Keeping paparazzi away from her is not the tax payers responsibility. I hope they get a new mayor who understands that.

Bull everyone is a citizen and should be treated equal. I don't care who she is it's HER PROBLEM she wants to be famous put HERSELF in that position and can and should pay for security 🙄
