The Gospel of John this Holy Thursday explores the deepest signs of the mystery of God's love through the washing of the feet. Jesus, despite being the King of Kings, humbled Himself in front of His disciples and washed their feet. Through the washing of the feet, Jesus expresses His love for us in this ultimate act of service, which should serve as a reminder for us to always give loving service to others.

My faith is being tested. Jesus help me. Iโm trying to balance everything on my own, but Lord I feel like Iโm failing miserably as a single mother. Both sons are special needs Iโm so overwhelmed trying to support them on my own. Iโm struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Jesus guide me and give me strength. I have faith you will carry me through this difficult time.

Holy and Righteous God, please lead me to those with whom you want me to share my life and pass on your faith heritage. Please open my eyes to see them. Please give me the strength to live honestly and courageously before them and do all I can to prepare them. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
