Such a great night to be present, Donnie was fired up ( but when is he not! ). The entire evening was electric from The Vindys who opened up blowing the roof off, to The Clarks with a stunning set and, best of all, Donnie & The Cruisers knocking the walls down. Being here for this celebration is the most Pittsburgh thing you can do! Thanks to everyone for a great night to remember always.


Hey folks, I post these videos for those that can't get out to see live shows and also for those who can to urge them to go support these venues & bands live. I record the songs with a telephone, "pinch to zoom ' can only go so far LOL. And, as for sound the phones are better than they used to be; too close the bass is over done and the rest is crushed, too far and the zoom is grainy. I do the best that I can. PLEASE if you can, go out and support these groups, stay after introduce yourself, talk about music and feel their passion for it.

    He defies all laws of physics and aging. It's mind boggling. He can hit high notes better than most 25 year olds. It's absolutely insane. I'm blown away.

    Wow, at 80 years old, Donnie is still kicking ass!! I remember when this song came out in '80. It was such a rocker!!! I was 9, now at 52, I still have this song on my Spotify playlist - it still holds up as a rocker!!! Happy Birthday to Donnie Iris!! What is also impressive is how easy he got up off the floor - for me at 52, I know it's not easy doing it gracefully!!
