In this video, I inform you that the Bank of England has urged people to spend or deposit their paper £20 and £50 notes before the notes stop being legal tender in September.

    I've got 2 £50 paper notes and 1 £20 paper note but I'm housebound and probably can't get someone to deposit them into my bank before end of September 😕 Can you 100% confirm for me please that paper notes can still be transferred into my bank account (Barclays) after 30th September? That would give me peace of mind. Thanks.

    We have still got to have cash - how can you tip otherwise in restaurants and hotels, etc? Can't expect an hotel porter to carry a card machine on him!
