Hey man, nice aesthetics and presentation. Keep going. You earned a sub!
  • @SnoringVids
John you just gained a sub! This is the video I've been waiting for. I already purchased but really enjoyed your video! I could tell it was going to be good from the first shots!
  • @Love_Sharma_
Great video! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Soon your channel is going to get a lot bigger than it currently is šŸ™‚
  • @jimtipton8888
Great roundup! Iā€™ve had experience with the 16 MBP, the 13 Air and the 14 MBP. All great machines. 14 MBP was my personal sweet spot.
  • @24hrstolive27
new to your channel love the content, I went with the 14 in MacBook m3 max 36gb 1 tb storage. new to the computer world, got it in space black. dont know much about the power but hoping it last me 5 years with solid speed for day to day things...
  • @marcoangelomusic
fantastic video Jon ! I'm undecided between M3 Air 15ā€ 24/1Tb and M3 Pro 14ā€ base 18/512. I use Final Cut , Garage band and web browsing.

Loved the video Jon, it really helped me a lot choosing but I got a question please if you can help me with For me I usually go with huge files on photoshop with lots of layers and file sizes exceeding 10GB so do you think 36GB Unified Memory is enough or I should go higher? also one more thing I'm scared about is battery life as this is gonna be my first time switching from Windows to MacBook how long is it gonna take if I use photoshop and 4k videos with large sizes? Thx again for all the effort you put in these:)

I don't own any one of these for now, but if I get one it is going to be a Air 15. The primary reason is that it is light enough to travel. I take my laptop to my office 5 days a week and I know for sure that the weight of the laptop will get pretty annoying after some point. But as a professional graphic designer I think sometimes the laptop might not cut it, so in that case I would get a Mac Studio for desk and travel with the Air 15. I personally think that this might give the best balance between a laptop that is light enough to travel every day and a powerful machine at home for all those demanding tasks that the Air will struggle with.

Yo nice vid!! Iā€™m still thinking about the best choice for my purpose. Want to use it in my future job as a teacher so it should be light enough to take it with me everyday. But also I the MacBook Pro would come with a hdmi port so I wouldnā€™t have to use an adapter for presentations. (Wanna do some coding, presentations, office stuff,ā€¦ with it) maybe you can tell me what you think - MacBook Air 13" or pro 14".

Hi! Great video! A went for a MacBook Air m3, 13 inches, 8Ram and 512. Awesome for ultralight mobility, a little bit of Lightroom, streaming and multitasking on the go. For more serious photo projects I have my MacBook Pro 14, M2 pro, 16ram and 1To. But less enjoyable on the go. I found both very nice for my type of use. I am not a great fan of iPad, so the air is my light companion :-)
  • @howardhsu4593
Thanks for the great video! Will you recommend MBA M3 24GB or MBP M3 Pro 18GB, if I need to run AutoCAD LT, 10-20 web tabs, Excel, PowerPoint and Parallel Desktop to run some Windows app (eg. DIALux Evo a 3D cad program). I also need to connect two external screens.
  • @SnoringVids
Would you also share what mic setup you're using? You sound great i think it's partly your voice but I'm looking at getting a larkM2 for outdoors but I'm not sure, and would like to know your preferred setup
  • @jemzwi
hey i hope im not too late, looking for one for light video editing and potential music mixing, what would you recommend?
  • Question, ill be studying computer science in college, and ive been thinking about a macbook, is the macbook air 13 with 16RAM and 512SSD good, or should i get a Macbook Pro 14 M3 pro chip base model? Ill be using c++, java, cloud computing, computer organization and assembly language, programming, and a course in software engineering
  • Got the 14 pro, regret not going up to 16 for better multitasking. I donā€™t care much about weight either. Love the airs, but I canā€™t give up on the 120hz, performance and ports.
  • @kimarodri
Hello, I'm a UX Designer and am currently using a Macbook Air 2017. My working hours use Web browsers, Google Workspace, Figma, and sometimes photo editing like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. It's not really a heavy task, but these are my main day-to-day software. Sometimes, I used Garageband for voice recording or Final Cut Pro for short video editing. What do you think is the best Macbook for me?
  • @bestlifedoc
Hey, love this video. Thinking of getting between macbook pro 16bg/512. Do you think its worth upgrading to yhe 24gb ram or even getting the m3 air with 24gb ram? Wanting a laptop for editing videos, podcasts, good all round. Hope you can help šŸ˜Šthank you!
  • @Alex-dg8nf
Hi there! Based on this video, would you reccomend a 15ā€™ M3 Air for a law student? What would be the recommended RAM to upgrade to? Love your videos
  • @felixtee123
Iā€™m window user. Would like to try switch to Mac experience. My usage task more to excel, web browse for business. Sometime, will open 3-5 BlueStacks for play mobile game or play streams game. Should I get MacBook Pro, Max or Air? What spec more suitable me?
  • @bertrusmcfly7958
Hi and thank you for this vdeo. I always have around twenty tabs open in my browser and several Excel files with lots of sheets (macros) open in the background, plus other applications (Lightroom, Mail, Sonos, VPN) and an external screen from time to time (I'm starting to get old and you can see Excel better on a 27" ;) I have a mid-2009 8GB/256GB MBP which is dying with its wifi 5 and the multi-colored wheel that appears as soon as I launch an app, I can't take it anymore ! Hence my question: for my use, which Mac with which memory do you recommend ? Many thanks !
