'She died a hero': Officer responding to mass shooting in Uvalde speaks on teacher who died

Teachers are already heroes. They shouldn’t have to risk their lives on top of an already difficult, underpaid job.

She goes straight to heaven. Gave her life to save her charge!

The State of Texas should be paying for all funerals & should give all families compensation.

Those two Teachers were so beautiful. RIP all you Angels that passed. ❤

The cops took so long to engage the shooter, because they where “afraid of being shot” meanwhile a true hero was way ahead of them laying her body on the line for those children.

>gunman shoots at 2 cops (or school security) who show up inside hallway

>gunman walks into classroom that didn't get locked, despite shooting outside for 12 minutes and inside hallway
>a hundred cops show up
>some cops go in, only to take their own kids out while shooter slaughters classroom
>an hour passes with him continuing to kill
>police mace, taze, and arrest parents trying to get inside
>off duty border patrol agent goes in by himself with a key
>why do you need a key to open a door when you have rifles and a hundred men
>border patrol agent kills salvador ramos aka GUNMAN
THE ABSOLUTE FoCK ACTUALLY HAPPENED HERE?!?!?!

I don’t personally know anyone at the school, but it is so heartbreaking and maddening at the same time. Those sweet kids and the teachers will never be forgotten.

She was always destined to be a hero. Some people just know what they are here for & sometimes it means they are the ones leaving this world too soon. Heros aren't doing it for anything but to bring out the good in the group..

This is so tragic. I wish all this hate would just stop. God be with his family and these poor children

I been thinking about this a lot lately and I didn't even know the children . My condollences go to all the children and families

More tragic loss than I can imagine. Children and brave teachers. WHEN are we going to work on this issue like it's life or death--- which it is. RIP
