In the first video on this project I use the 843 Bobcat to remove a large concrete pad and concrete steps from a front entrance/raised patio. The lower supporting foundation is damaged and the steps are sinking into the block wall. This has caused a water intrusion problem along with damage to sill plate & rim joist. In this video I removed the damaged rim joist and sill plate. New replacement boards are installed, mortar work is performed on the lower exposed section of the foundation, and the wall is prepped for back filling. No more exposed hole!! Unfortunately the repair in its entirety could not be included in this video. It was getting rather lengthy. The installation of the tar flashing, furring strips and replacement siding will be covered in another video. I included a product link to the pry bar used in this video. This is an affiliate link and I will receive a small commission if you purchase the item.
