I was at this show. It was sick. People were getting carried out on stretchers, out of control mosh pit. Skinheads throwing fists fighting with the thrashers. This is when Slayer ruled the scene. Fuckin nuts

I seen them about a year before this at a small club in milwaukee called 'The Junction'. The local radio station was supposed to broadcast the show live, not really knowing much about SLAYER. They assumed it was probably similar to Motley Crue or something. So, i'm parking my car down the block from the club as the live broadcast begins. 'Please welcome metal blade recording artists SLAYYYYYYYER! They open up w/ Antichrist, and a few seconds later, dead air. It was awesome! There were about 100 people in this club. They still had the make-up,spandex and upside down light up crosses. A fond memory I will take to my grave.

My favorite era of Slayer? Before Kerry wore sunglasses to every interview.
-
That bass sound is incredible especially when you think they during that time, the bass sound in thrash suffered. Tom’s vocals were very clear. You can understand every word!!
-
I think I may have been at this show. Back when Kerry was a mere band member and the world didn''t revolve around him. Great times!
-
That f$$king drumming.
-
Lombardo is an animal.
-
Thank you for HQ version of THIS !!!
-
Sweet memories.
-
The drums sound SO GOOD

If I could go back in time to attend any one concert this might very well be my choice. RIP Tom Arya's hearing...
-
Speed, songs, voice, headbanging, accuracy, all just great. That´s how thrash metal is done.
-
I was at this. Freezing cold night in NYC. Slayer played two nights. First night, Overkill and Death Angel opened; second, Agnostic Front and Zoetrope. Same week in NYC, Metallica played Felt Forum (MSG) with Metal Church.

I've been a Slayer freak since '86 and this is the first time I've seen Tom playing bass finger style. Brutal! 🤘😳
-
Feel like there's not enough old slayer concerts like this around on yt, THANK YOU!!!
-
Thankx for the upload....bass growls like a beast...love it....good ol' times
-
love watching old concerts... back then when there were no smartphones or social media. Just a few cameras and ppl enjoying the show like it was their last. Nowadays ppl are standing still with their phones out... actual NPCs :eyes-purple-crying:

Experienced tinnitus for 2 days after this show. The Ritz now defunct, was a solid place to see a show.
