This is a great End of the year move for the Era. I like many other fans have waited long for this mixtape and it was definitely worth the wait. My favorite is either Vinyls or Like Water. If you look at the back cover Astrals by CJ Fly isnt on here so they made a mistake, but still It's sicckk. Enjoy It.

  • idk about yall but once I came back from winterbreak in early January of '13, this tape held my ass down in the hallways and classrooms in my high school as a junior that winter. Shit was sooo memorable, yet sooo different back then. Damn.

To all of you saying "Hip Hop is back!" that is one of the most false things a person could say about hip hop. Hip hop never died nor disappeared and came back. There are millions of starving artists out there trying to be heard, a certain percentage of them are making great music, and the thing about you people who say that "hip hop is dead" are usually the ones to bash artists who tell you to check out their music. So how you even know if it's dead if you aren't letting it live? Or going underground searching for new artists? You people are hilarious lol

nothing touches my soul quite like the first track off this...
  • @FROMTHE9five
got chills when that first track started playing.. RIP CAPITAL STEEZ

I shed a tear just now listening to "Natural" I had that on repeat non stop when this dropped. I was 20. Now I'm 30 years old. Crazy. I even remember the rap I made to the second verse. Man

Every time Steez kicks a verse if you listen you are gauranteed to hear a bar, or secret meaning that went over your head last time. He never ever fails to impress.

If Madlib got in the studio with the whole pro era and conceptualized a mixtape it might go platinum in the underground.

i hate the fact that this mixtape is so underrated, the lyrics, instrumentals and the vibe is on point. i heard so many hip hop mixtapes and albums but non are as good as this mixtape. This and 1999 are game changers. if everybody were to hear this mixtape best believe it would bring hip hop to that state where it should be.

I will never be able to articulate into words how much of a vibe this is. I need this on Vinyl
