Loved the video, gonna go ahead and now do mine .
  • So interesting with the barrel nut issue. I just added a new Stinger handguard to mine, and it took me 1 minute to take the barrel nut off with a crescent wrench and the Midwest Industries Scorpion barrel nut tool. Didn't even put in on a vice; had it between my legs. I got mine in early 2021, so wonder if the older models had tons of locktite? I barely had any on mine.

I have the exact same one, I wasn't sure if u wanted to buy this. But since black Friday deals are coming up as we speak. I'm going to get it. Thank you for the video.

I have to ask. Did you find a charging handle that doesn't rattle that much in strike industries handguard? The one thing I've heard about them that people don't like is that there is some slop I'm the charging handle when forward in the strike handguard.
  • Hey man if you could read this and reply it’d make me so happy lol so I got the same hand gaurd from strike and I put it on my scorpion and loved it just like you did up until I went to throw my charging handle/handles in bc I run extended on side stock handle on the other, and my charging handle is loose and sloppy in the hand gaurd. Where you can’t put the pin in it it lets my charge handle rod slide forward a little to much and it becomes rattly and loose and that just irks me to the core. Pay so much money for such a well matchined part and then to me they just dropped the ball on the charging handle issue. Gun runs great mechanically but I hate that it slopped the charging handles up that way just a design flaw in my book. Very interested to see if you had the same issue and if you did, did you find a fix? Or go with another hand gaurd??

I can see it in the video here, but are you shooting high? The pic rail on the handguard looks 1-2mm lower than the CZ plastic portion. Confirm? I wanted to do this for a while, just a new handguard even, but I am reading that most of these are lower or higher than the CZ plastic rail, causing all kinds of zeroing issues. I know the Pakse one that HBI sells is the same thing.
  • @godsdozer
Do you have to use the fake suppressor part? I have dedicated can for my scorpion.
  • I had been wondering if someone made a full size hand guard vs the standard one that comes with it
  • @brucealzona
Can you technically screw on a suppressor in the front?
  • @stevenutt9837
Didn't you forget the charging handle? Looks like it was on the old one
  • @meng77
    Rear sight maybe installed backwards
  • I have the exact same setup brother I'm a little emotional over why strike industries didn't make that Pic rail go to the end of the hand guard ? Why tha he'll didn't they? I always critique shit when I buy then I hate it now I wish I would have got. Midwest handguard the 11.5 in one I hate when the handguard is short and the stock is long as fuck dammit 😑 here I go again ! Great video I need couch time ⏲️
  • Hey quick question I had my hand guard installed by a gun smith but I saw you didn't put charging handle back I was wondering if I need to take the whole handguard off to install a new charging handle with the strike handguard? And if so I would just use the barrel tool to get the can off and take that one screw out ?
  • Just wasted my time watching you but I enjoyed it. You're funny. Lol
  • @cponsit
    Hi, what's your barrel length?
  • @sandman9000
Hey my brother, where did you get the faux can from? Thanks
  • @guerian84
Does it change the weight is is heavy
  • @A5JDZK
You left off your charging handle
  • @whatsup24_7
Oh wow the color is so far off on the handguard. And the picatinny isn't even color matched, it should be the same color as the handguard. I went with the HB Industries which is all FDE, not two-tone. I would've returned that one on the spot.
