That Thai motorcycle taxi drivers said, “When my face goes dark and I’m about to faint I go to the petrol station and drench myself in water.” DW translated it as something about not having a choice about what job he could get? Wtf

Bangladesh, the Philippines and Thailand aren't even the biggest carbon emitters in the world, but we are the most affected by the global warming. these rich countries always saying "we need to cut down carbon emissions and use green energy asap" aren't even doing anything because they are all in the comfort of their homes with air conditioning powered by fossil fuels. All this renewable energy thing is ALL TALK!!!! expect that next year will be hotter than this year.

Governments: Avoid direct sunlight and outdoor activities. Also governments: Give permission to cut down more trees.

In the Philippines, I start to sweat as soon as I start drying myself up from the shower 😢
-
Poor reporter whose detailed journalistic reporting had to be cut short..
-
0:52 "but I can't choose another job, can't I?" He didn't said that, he just said the weather is so hot he need to go to gas station to have water washing his face or he can't go on driving. lol
-
From the Philippines here and yes it's been a struggle 🥵🔥♨️♨️
-
As a fellow south East Asian, I really can’t take no more of this heat.
-
the rich stay cool as the poor pay to exist...
-
It's not only the heat temperature itself. It's also a humidity. If the temperature is high and the humidity is also high than the body try to sweat more but can't cool itself down and this is /can be a danger to the health and body.
-
Unfortunately they will look back on these days, as the "good old days" in the very short term. Earth is at +1.6C with fossil fuel usage sky rocketing. We are toast.
-
In the Philippines is 45 degrees and It is said that This coming May it will goes up to 50+ degrees . We are now suffering the heat 😢 even in the night is still hot .
-
In Singapore it’s at least 33 degrees . Walking out for 5 minutes is like 30 minutes of walk under the scorching sun. It’s more of the humidity that’s making things hotter . Even in the night.
-
Condolences for those being born around now..
-
This is terrifying!!! What have we done to our planet? 😢😞
-
People near the equator: "guess ill just die" srsly wtf do we do now
-
literally most countries having all time high temperatures every year and there's still people denying there's a problem
-
Why they had to cut his report very short. This is more important news. A very serious one. Just because you are not affected yet of this climate change doesn't mean you will not be affected soon.
-
in southeast asia, it's less about the temperature and more about the humidity. the high humidity traps heat and it makes people feel like there's always a cloud of heat just wrapping around our bodies all the time during the day.

52C is the equivalent of 125F. I had to look it up
