Awesome car !! Pretty expensive though

Happy New Year Chris and Cindy. For comparison , Just went on a longer trip with my Mach e. It was great used Bluecruse most of the drive, It’s wonderful too. Had a lonely road so I tried to find the top speed in whisper got to 169km In about 7 seconds I had to slow down, but it wanted to keep going. In unbridled it’s a lot crazier. I haven’t found a spot to test it to the limit. Have fun with the iD7!

Thx for this video. I do wonder if the current ID’s get that software update or it’s limited by hardware. Did you hear anything from VAG about that?

Hi. Great video. It looks like that your steeringwheel is a little of center to the left (wheel alignment) All CUPRA Borns that I have driven has that aswell and It gets a little more when Travel Assist is actived. Have you noticed? How about captivity sensor when driving with one hand on 9-10 o'clock? Have you noticed any dropout. I have it all the time and also after replaced steeringwheel on a CUPRA Born with SW3.2

Nice review:) I am considering ID.7 myself. I have a question. Currently I am driving Seat Leon which has Travel Assist. The problem I have with that system is that when I am driving on a highway (110+km/h) it often remembers a speed limit that is no longer there and often surprises me with unexpected hard breaking (130->60km/h). This is often dangerous when there is car going behind me. Is this a non issue in ID.7 Travel Assist? Or at least much improved?
  • @testi2025
When the TravelAssist does that waking brake, it also pulls the seat belt right after the brake, so it really shakes you.

Since you have software 4.0 , do you have additional options in the Volkswagen app on your phone ? Is there something different in the app vs software 3.2/3.5 ?
  • @bertduyck4412
looks great. Did a test drive with this car today and sadly the whole left side of the wheels touch buttons did not work so was not able to test the cruise control. I hope it wont become a general thing for this not to work. Did you have issues with that already?
  • @JarkkaKivikanta
What's the maximum speed for the matrix lights to keep working? Do they work on the autobahn in the top speeds?
  • @pierregarcia4430
Nice video. Does the travel assist aplies automatically the speed it reads on signals or do you have to manually force it ? in my ID3 it was automatic
  • What about the learning part of lane assist connected to cloud? It may learn the proper trace of country roads. Does it work?

Hi. How is the Sound of the harman Kardon? Would like to see / hear some Impressions

Great Car. Price in China is half of the one in Germany. Just imagine us having the chinese price...

This excellent steering feeling is based on a pretty low-end hardware, that the steering machining on MEB cars is actually single-pinion based EPS, which is not only far away from the premium steering machining forms like RD(Rack-Directdrive)-EPS and RP(Rack-Parallel)-EPS, but also lower than the dual-pinion EPS commonly seen at a D-segment car.
