  • You guys did a great job! Especially for not using spray foam before. I run an insulation company for a living. We use these kits quite a bit. These are the same kits that professionals use. Just a few tips. PPE - always wear a full face mask and never take your mask off inside the room or building you are spraying. Also, the two chemicals mix and form an exothermic chemical reaction. It uses the heat to expand which gives you your depth an R value. You should be spraying in about 1” passes meaning you spray enough foam that it expands to 1”. If you spray too thin it won’t expand correctly. You can also use acetone (or Great Stuff cleaner) to clean the gun and clean out the tips so you can reuse them. Just a few tips.

Just so you know, when you're standing inside without a mask even though you're not spraying it, those aerosolized droplets can still enter your respiratory system as small particles. Please take care of yourself. YOu might think you're strong but you could pay the price later in life. You showed an example of how it drifted outside onto your power banks. It's the same concept for your lungs! You're doing a super job with your shed to home too.
  • You guys never fail to amaze me ! Even doing it the first time I'm blown away how it turns out . Great job Jared and Jason . And Danielle you rock doing the taping .
  • I watched your video yesterday and I just want to say I think you did a good job. I love to see the teamwork between the two of you as brothers. It's always amazing to see what you guys not only do but how well you get the job done. I know in our home we have done many different things over the years not spray foam but we have tackled many different things some that people wouldn't do but you know what we got it done and it works well. You might find there's some things that you'll do different but you know what I give you too much credit for trying you're doing things I know many of my family who are very handy would not try so I say you're doing fantastic
