  • Thanks too all the heroes, police, firefighters, p.g.@e, paramedics, and all that have come to help rescue us.

I lived in Santa Cruz and Felton back in the 90s. I rented a small cabin just a little way up Felton Empire Rd. from the library. I don't recognize anything from the videos. Wonder if that old library is still there? The Santa Cruz beach right across the street from where the Boardwalk amusement park was is all washed out now, I think. I was living there when there was a huge mudslide in the mountains near Felton that killed some people and destroyed a lot of homes. Glad I moved to Arkansas!

My old neighborhood in Felton now chest deep in water. Empire grade blocked by mud slides. West Cliff Drive washed partially away. Way worse than the Columbus Day storm back in the 70's
  • in 82 it flooded 4 feet in my house on 259 circle drive, but this is way worse. stay strong. Mr Paganini donated the land next to the covered bridge and thats where all the mud went, the county redtagged it, but I got it un tagged. I was the neighborhood coordinator. Im in Todos Santos BCS now, if anyone remembers me, Ramona Burgdorf was my name. I still have friends that live in the grove. Everything looks so different...
  • Doensteam from Felton Grove there are quite a few homeless camps. I’m sure that they are flooded out now.

Don't forget to listen to road crew. Hwy 9 is blocked 🚫 but can use back way until creeks flood. I got my electric back, only to wake up and not have it. One night 🌙 ✨️ 😴 👌 in my own bed 🛌 😴 👌. No worries back to my daughters with all the great grand babies and 9 of us under one roof. Safety 1st. Love home.
  • Hope everyone's ok. Time to break out the rubber duckies!
  • I would avoid any type of driving. I stayed home knowing my house is on the higher ground. If not, I would be watching carefully.

I'm homeless' and flooded out', how do I apply for Federal disaster relief grant money to buy a new tent'? or does anybody really care about the homeless? When it rains' it pours.
