  • Awesome video, as always! However, i see a lot of videos explaining what things are, where the boat is, what hard and soft bottom look like. I personally (and hope others as well) would love an explanation or a schooling on ok... i found that rock with fish on it. Now what? How do i waypoint it and navigate to a close enough casting distance, whats your bait of choice, how many casts or different baits until you give up on said fish, how to orientate yourself so you're casting at the object without livescope. Basically, the next step to this video without giving away all your secrets! Go DAWGS
  • This is a great vid! It’s the best I have seen on bottom contours, structure and actual fish. I found it extremely helpful. Thank you for the great info!

I love it! i just went from a garmin Striker 4 to a humminbird helix 7 msi g4n, so I've been learning a lot lately. maybe making a video on how to mark waypoints and how to position your kayak to fish them would be nice.

A video in depth showing what surface interference looks like and how to adjust your fishfinder to clear it up. Your videos are great but your set up is spot on. Maybe show more of what your missing on the fishfinder by not having it adjusted right. Also no one ever talks about when your in 12 ft of water and your sonar is only covering what about 10 to 15 ft or less of the bottom, we could be missing a lot, but using side scan is a broader area. Something else that is not talked about is as your pinging down, where are the fish entering the cone front back side etc. I know it is a snap shot but if you want to get on top of them it helps to know what direction they are going. Thanks I love your videos Sam

I like the concept. It's always a bit of a struggle to know what I'm looking at so this helps. Please do some time on natural lakes too. So much content like this is focused on reservoirs with road beds and man made structure.
