I love how he's really honest about it all. The mind is a powerful thing and all our minds perceive the world around us differently. In the end we are our own masters when it comes to the world we create in our perceptions, but that doesn't mean other people can subtly influence us to temporarily see things in a different way. This is bringing me back to when I was studying psychology and philosophy back in school. The idea of the person behind our eyes, the homunculus that experiences everything using our senses as tools to experience the world.
