Take a moment and think about it. Remember it, Share it and maybe, just maybe, we can be great again!

The point of this video? Not to create animosity nor give an audience to hateful statements from people who, because of their own apathy, in part created the world we now live. The point of this video is to make anyone who cares to pull together and stop the down fall as best as they can. To be good to one another and stop blaming everybody else for our own short comings. To heal ourselves so that we can heal others. Not as separate parts, but as a whole sum of Humanity!

This video has now been seen in 190+ countries!
Still people don't seem to be getting the point.
I am a human being just as you. Doing things for the right reasons just as you.
If you're not treating your fellow man (Mankind) (Human Beings) with compassion, or at least treating them as you would be treated, then how are you helping the situation.
And if you're not helping the situation, then what are you doing?
Its not about invisible lines that divide us rather human qualities that unit us.

It's a lie to think your not good enough. There are two entities in the world.
1. Evil This is where one feels Anger, Jealousy, Greed, Resentment, Lies, and Inferiority.
2. Goodness This is where one feels Joy, Peace, Love, Hope, Humility, Kindness, Empathy and Truth.
As I read over the comments I see both Evil and Goodness shared. It is not a country that is evil or good. Rather it is a personal choice of the people in any country to be either Good or Evil. And they do so through their actions.

10 years later, he would be so much angrier in that speech because everything he said, 10 YEAR AGO, is getting worst today.
  • @JayBee23417
He hit the nail on the head with "the first step in solving a problem is to recognize there is one".....

I still can’t believe that this guy was in “Dumb and Dumber” Edit: 10k and 182 comments of clarification, gawd dayum

10 years old and still true. And we've probably worsened in some of those categories since then.

"We waged war on poverty, not poor people." This is one of the phrases of all times. Right now, as a citizen of United States I'm seeing our government waging war on poor people. That man, who said such line, is speaking absolute truth. I hope this video is seen by all the US citizens.
  • @cookieeater3436
Just reminding you all that this man also starred in dumb and dumber. Jeff Daniels is a great actor
  • @bonnie3447
In reality they would have cut his mic 7 seconds in.
  • @lunch_trey
"We didn't identify by who we voted for in the last election." That line hits for me. We used to be a country where we could have different views and still managed to walk away friends. Now? The second someone finds out you have a different political stance than them then they just cut you out of their life altogether.

I remember as a kid pondering the difficulties of man making it to the moon. I remember seeing a clip of the NASA scientists working together to brainstorm through problems. I thought: They're going to do it! The USA is going to find a way to make it despite the daunting odds against. They did and what a powerful feeling of pride it instilled in us. Now? It feels like we can't even work together to pass a trivial piece of legislation. We've gone from greatness to petty incompetency. We've really let down our country and our country's young people.
  • @dunamisd
In reality they wouldn’t have let him talk that long
  • @avvv70
To be fair, it was a really dumb question
  • @drabbit61
Watched this again today at 62. He spoke from his heart.. There is something we are missing...sincerity
  • @qhubbles
What I really hate about American culture is that when someome say something like this, they will call it "anti-American" insted of honest.
  • @snagsisbad1055
dont let this distract you from the fact that lightning mcqueen blew a one lap lead in the piston cup
  • @BrianStorm742
This is some weird alternate reality where the millennial calls America the best country on earth and the boomer disagrees.
  • @kaizen_5091
Love this. I've never understood why so many idolize America or any country for that matter. Being a patriot is different to blind ignorance! Like every single country on this planet, it has its positives and negatives. It is safe to say that I would never choose to live in America.
