So honest and so informative! Also I wanted to go into corporate law. Did an internship my first year and was bored to tears! So I ended up getting a finance degree and then a Master’s in Biblical Counseling 🥰

I have the same map that you have! We love scratching off the countries. The homeschool pacing guides are gold around here also. So glad that you did a Flip Through on the Building Writing Skills - I'm excited to see how you like it.
  • Looks like she will have a great year to come! If you have time I would love a flip through of the Spanish curriculum you chose! Thanks so much!😊
  • Thanks for sharing! It can be hard to find curriculum offerings for highschool so I appreciate seeing these options.
  • I have a few more years before highschool, but I am a curriculum junkie and love seeing all the options out there. Thanks for sharing. God bless ❤
  • Looks like it's going to be a great year. Thank you for sharing your choices for your daughter.
  • Great information ! Yes I would love to see a flip through for the Writing book. Yes we buy half of our things used and find a lot on eBay. We also resale it’s a great tip 😊

My daughter is only in 2nd grade but greatly enjoyed the video! I’m also a native Texan! Love your shirt ❤

Absolutely loved this, and so excited to see you're doing Sonlight for her English credit this year. I look forward to seeing how your year goes and what you think if the books and course. Blessings ❤

I love that book list. Awesome selection.

Hi, Miss Heather! I know it's obvious that I'm working backward through your posts. I'm small-batch canning dill pickles as the cukes stack up, reading Joel Salatin, and learning about electroculture. I guess I'm just a bit burned out and finding your homeschool posts interesting! Thanks. I needed that. And you know how I talk too much... Skylar might find 2 books fascinating with her Civics work. I know you will! This author won a contest in highschool and had these 2 books published as the prize: OUR PRESIDENTS ROCK! & OUR CONSTITUTION ROCKS! Me, I enjoy all the major presidential quotes that reflect their platforms. It's really fun to flip through these books for research-paper inspiration/fodder --something I would have needed waaaay back. Since she's into law, she will need these 2 books and a Black Law Dictionary. I will try not to leave anymore dissertations. Alas, I am only human.

So for her 9th grade year, what science did she do? Just the lab? We will be doing Breaking the barrier spanish 2 for my son's 9th grade year because he did BJU spanish 1 for 8th grade... BJU is very intensive.
  • William did that civics class "for fun" one summer. It was really good!

Why dont you buy the teacher and student guide and get books from library or thriftbooks
