I really never understood how 60 minutes is shown in less than 60 minutes!

Thought Macron would get confused by "desynced" until he replied with "desynchonization". His English is pretty great, and his accent is smooth and easy to understand.

Speaking English a second language Pres. Macron is way more articulate than most American politicians. He doesn't sidestep questions infantilize the audience. Hope some of our Dem and Reps were watching this.
  • I'm honestly surprised that a French president speaks English in an interview and even very decently. Never heard that before personally (and neither from German politicians).
  • Best interview l have seen of a foreign president in America since l can't remember when.
Intelligent journalist, pithy questions and the very thoughtful, competent and impressive representative of France.
Vive la France. Vive la République.
  • @muhuradedan
He is very honest and addresses the USA directly. Very few people do that with the USA
  • @FaIIenImpact
My respect for Macron went way up because of how direct he was and how little he dodged the question
  • @CRYSTALBEATZ
The honesty he has and the way he speaks even when it's a second language to him, it's just great to watch, I've never seen an interview of him before, and i'm glad i did now, seems like a good president and someone knows what he's doing.

Without France, the US would have had a whole lot harder and rougher times defeating the English during colonial times.
  • He speaks better English than the average Joe on the streets of the UK and USA.
  • @joiedevie3901
I wish our own politicians could articulate our polices in English as well as he did. What a remarkable leader at 44 years!
  • Great to hear a perspective on world events and on America from another perspective! Well said Emmanuel Macron.
Name of interviewer should be included in description, no? Bill Whitaker always does a fantastic job!!

I am not French. I don't know what the French citizens think of President Macron or his policies. But I do like how honest and direct he is. He didn't skirt any questions. I'm shocked he made time for this interview.

Articulate, brilliant, eloquent, charismatic, simple and at the same time classic, Peace loving, a good negotiator, an ally when needed. This is one of Europe's youngest leaders. Good luck, President Macron. Vive La France. Felicitations.
