How is Rob Lowe still GORGEOUS!! He was a heart throb in the 90s, 2000s and this man is still so humble and gorgeous!!
  • Chris Traeger did a good job portraying Rob Lowe. The "Literally" makes me want to burst laughing hahaha.

No matter how old Rob Lowe gets, he always looks so young. He will always be Sam Seaborn in my heart. ❤️

For those of you wondering which high school Rob Lowe didn't graduate from, it was Santa Monica High School, aka SaMoHi. Hollywood celebrities and the elite often lived in Malibu and Pacific Palisades beach homes, but those communities were too small to have their own public high school in the '70s and '80s, so their teenagers attended either SaMoHi or private high schools. SaMoHi was the favorite. The campus was only 2 blocks from the beach (so we often went surfing during lunch breaks, then headed back to afternoon classes), and the school had funding for lots of sports teams and Advanced Placement (AP) classes, while no tuition or student uniforms were required. At SaMoHi, Rob Lowe hung around with very few of the names he named in the video, because most graduated before he arrived as a student. After school and on weekends, those friends got together, created movies and characters, and filmed themselves with 8 mm video cameras to practice their craft. That's why their acting seemed so seasoned, even at young ages. I suspect those weekend film parties also included the drugs these actors got addicted to in their younger years. At school, Rob hung around with a group of about 8 teens, which included "the other Rob" (aka Robert Downey, Jr.), "Charlie" (actually Carlos Estevez, aka Charlie Sheen), and Ramon Estevez. Most of the members of this group acted entitled, due to their parents' money and positions. Rob Lowe stood out, not only for his looks (he was the most handsome kid on campus and had already had modelling, commercial, and TV roles), but also because he was well-mannered and polite, instead of acting entitled. In this video, Rob Lowe claimed he was a nerd in high school and the best student in the group. I would never call him a nerd, because he wasn't academically qualified for any of the college prep or AP classes, nor were any of the kids he hung around with. Like most kids, they only took the easy classes required for graduation. Robert Downey, Jr. was the smartest of that group, but even he didn't graduate from high school. Charlie Sheen always acted full of himself and hadn't yet decided whether he would play major league baseball or become an actor when he graduated. His pitching ability later worked out well for him in _Major League_, the movie. But it was obvious to me, even in 1981, that these 3 kids (Rob, the other Rob, and Charlie) were going to become household names within 25 years.

Rob Lowe as Sam Seaborn in The West Wing, and as Chris in Parks and Rec, are two of my favorite characters in tv history.

Rob Lowe is three years younger than I am, but looks 20 years younger. It's just not fair.

He only gets better with age, like a fine wine ❤

That part at the end with all the stories was just genius!

Many years ago, I worked for an art gallery in Chicago. Art Expo was on, and a lovely couple came into our space. They were quite good looking, and as we chatted the man introduced himself and his wife to me and mentioned they were Rob and Chad Lowe’s parents. Could not have been nicer. Listening to Rob say what a nerd he was in high school, that he was the “good kid”, I believe him. Having met his parents, I believe he was raised with some loving discipline. And as good looking as he is, multiply by 10 and that’s his father.

I saw him a few years ago at an event and I was stunned at how beautiful he is in person. I was never a huge fan so it shocked me at how handsome he is. Everyone around me felt the same way. What a sweet man too..🧡

Being a mid 20s guy, I feel like I saw the outsiders and but didn't pay too much attention to Rob Lowe growing up. Now, Everytime I see him on an interview or show I like him more and more. Classy guy, nice guy, cheers Rob 🍻
