Never thought of covering the E on the A string when chugging the open E. Makes perfect sense, the octave sounds cool and it's an easy spot to play the pentatonic. Gold mate, thanks!

One thing you might want to mention, is to get that "Metallica Live" sound, you have to go down a half step.

You Absolutely fucking machine bro haha 🤘🏻😝🤘🏻 I’ve got it at 90% speed with the track.. on a good day that is.. Just got to get that last bit of speed going!

Struggling with this. I just cant do it quick enough or maintain it. Its the upstroke bit of the gallop that im finding difficult
  • Hey Riff Master, love the videos. Any chance you could do a video of how you hold your pick and up close gallop technique? I'm working on my gallops right now and they just sound like garbage. Tons of string noise and no consistency with the alternate picking. Just feel as though the pick will always catch on the string, fingers are all over the strings etc. etc. Anyways, as always great job! Metal!
  • Kirk Hammett shows it in slow motion how to play it he called it "dead battery" it's a good instructional video check it out.
  • Thank you for a decent lesson! What pedal name Did you use here? How to get that metal sound or that was the sound of Blackstar tube amplifier?

WRONG, the main riff ends on G#, NOT A ;) SOLID right hand, as always, cheers!!! :)

it is not about that you can teach that to somebody, a person needs o be able to pick that up otherwise you wont be able to
