I live in a village basically in the middle of nowhere in Austria and this dude came to eat in our restaurant last week. I’m still star struck πŸ˜‚

The host is treating Dr Kaku like Alexa...
  • @daddyhotrock
A lot of people here think the interviewer was uncharismatic, dull and short. My view is that he was straight to the point and avoiding the popularity contest, in order for Michio Kaku to shine. Nowadays every interviewer wants to steal the limelight and be the star of the show. This interviewer asked interesting questions and didn't interrupt. I say good on him!

I wish teachers taught like this man speaks
  • The interviewer is Brian Lamb. He is an Executive Chair for C-SPAN with 5,307 videos in the C-SPAN Video Library. I believe that he is a master of his profession as Dr. Kaku is in physics . He asks just the minimum required to let Dr. Kaku shine, which is the purpose here. This is a different format than a "talk show". A thousand years from now, people will look back at this interview with awe. How could they not?

At 43 minutes michio kaku says he would rather work on a big problem and fail than work on a lot of little problems and succeed. That’s motivating.

HE IS 72!!! I thought he must be in his 50-60s He looks so young and active
  • In an alternate universe, Kaku might be a villainous scientist who aided in a global nuclear war. Luckily we get the Good Kaku in our world.

Damn, he's more confident of his answers than a pregnancy test.

Mr Kaku spiked my interest in physics in the 70's and here i am 54 years old in 2018 still being inspired by him.
  • @Stringbean421
Michio Kaku is 71 years old now. I hope he lives for another 70 years. I love this guy!
  • Excellent interviewer. Clear, succinct, and direct questioning. Just guides the conversation without intruding or taking any shine away from the interviewee.
  • Thank God this man sustained his unique orientation and passion despite the school system trying to drill it out of him. He is so likable and just a gem.
  • @jdt8983
Love listening to people way smarter than myself. Thank you Michio
  • @Jean-fc8ug
He is my role model! A brilliant and great person!
  • @Greg400
The interviewer is kind of annoying, he throws questions at Prof. Kaku like a cop who is interrogating a criminal.
  • Actually, Brian Lamb is the perfect interviewer. He doesn't make it about HIM. He's just there to ask questions. Correctly, he's not trying to be Tom Snyder.
