Made this as a bit of a response to all the people out there who claim that cats are incapable of showing any kind of affection or bonding with humans. My little guy is always at my side and he is the biggest baby of a cat.

  • Hello all. I wanted to put this hear to let everyone know that Garfield passed on at the end of March. It was a very difficult time and I want to thank everyone that has watched my videos and enjoyed them in the past. I will leave the videos up so that people can still enjoy the kind of cat Garfield was. He was very special to me and I want his memory to live on. Thank you again for allowing me to share Garfield with everyone, and for those of you with your own kitties, give them a big hug on my behalf. Rest in peace little buddy ❤

The cat's grooming of his owner shows the bond he feels.

Plot twist- Garfield has been slowly eating away at his owner because he tastes like lasagna.

Fact: Dog people would like cats if they didn't treat cats like dogs.

I just watched Animal planet and the experts say if cats lick you (or groom you) it's a sure sign of utmost love and trust from the cat to you.
  • This is how my cat is. He just turned 20 and he's still so affectionate. I'm so scared for the day he crosses the rainbow bridge as he's become such a part of me. The love of a cat is so special. 💕 Youre a good cat owner and person, he knows. He loves you.

Maybe it's just personal experience but I always find Ginger Toms to be the most affectionate cats.

Who needs a girlfriend when you got Garfield.

It's quite obvious your cat loves you that much. It embraced you the moment you picked it up and starts licking your face. So sweet!
  • Our cat is the same way, always licking us - especially my husband. He's also an orange tabby. He's a big baby too.

As strange as this may sound, most domesticated cats are very affectionate and loyal. Basically, if you are nice and caring to them, they will be nice and caring right back to you. No doubt, this cat has the utmost love and respect for its owner. I have had 3 cats over the year, 2 males and 1 female. All of them had different personalities and mannerisms. One thing remained constant; they always loved to be around me. It wasn't because I fed them lots of treats or because I had some special scent. It was because I petted them, I played with them, I let them have their alone time, and when they sought me out, I responded with kindness and affection. Your cats are always speaking to you. Just listen to what they are saying, and you will have a wonderful relationship with them.

And they say cats don't show compassion? That's a BS claim.

Our cat hugs like that too and loves to be picked up but he doesn’t lick lol what a sweetheart!! 😍

You literally have a best friend. God gave you an angel. We have two rescue pit bulls and they're the best things to ever happen to us.

You are a good pet owner!!! And the way your animal shows love and respect for you is just more conformation that you treat him also with respect and love. We don’t deserve animals God bless you

He loves his father!!! I had a Ginger like that, he was always at my side and wanted to help me with whatever I was doing. He even loved to travel by car! I miss him so badly; he was my bff.
