Early Smith & Wesson ads for the .357 revolvers contained the warning "Not for men of small stature" due to the recoil. It was pure marketing genius, as every small built guy ran out to buy one.

Both utterly inadequate for home defence in Tokyo, where all of these loads will just ping off the hide of a rampaging Godzilla. Perhaps a future video could cover this.

Good point about the 38 Special. I have used my 357 with 38 Special wadcutter target ammo to give new shooters a virtually recoil-free introduction to shooting a handgun.
