Published 2024-05-14
Join me on my journey as I travel like a tourist for the day visiting Valldemossa, Deia, Soller and Port de Soller by bus in this one-day Mallorca Itinerary.

Find out if this is a day trip from hell, a great day out that you can do when you visit Mallorca on holiday.

Find out out how easy it is to take the bus in Mallorca here (note: masks are no longer needed):
   • How to take the TIB Bus in Mallorca (...

Read more about it here

Here is my route:
- I took the TIB 203 Bus from Palma to Valldemossa
- Then I took the 203 bus from Valldemossa to Deia, then the same bus to Soller.
-From Soller, I jumped on the 204 bus from Soller to Port de Soller (although I I could've stayed on the same bus).
The location of the bus station is here to take the frequently running 204 bus to Port de Soller here maps.app.goo.gl/YNW9aWsNoMyamEYz8
- And finally I returned to Palma on 204 bus .

I think Soller is one of my favourite places on the island, its a must everytime I go to Majorca.

As a regular to Majorca since 1959, I was hankering after visiting again post-pandemic - but your coverage of all the areas and sights I recall has spared me the hassle of travel - which has become just too tedious. So until here is a service that anesthetizes me at home, then wakes me up in the Hotel Son Net 8 hours later, this is an excellent alternative.

This in my opinion has to be one of the best videos you have made. I love the inland villages. I would definitely recommend taking the bus, less stress, but you w Will be lucky to get on one in high season. Fabulous video. Thanks for your hard work Alex.
  • Brilliant bus service in Majorca and a wonderful place to visit can't wait to go back. Fantastic video

Think Public Transport is one of the most beautiful ways to meet people. Be they Good/Bad. The world just passes you by whilst in your own vehicle..

Absolutely love your guides to Mallorca, especially enjoy the practical guides for travelling around the island as I never have a hire car. Coming to this fabulous island soon !!

I visited Majorca for the first time last year, and went to Soller. Absolutely loved it, we took the train which was lovely but possibly wouldn't do it again as it was so sweaty! We had fresh orange juice, a wonderful meal where I got a taroncello spritz, got an ensaimada from a bakery and I got some beautiful lemon scented perfume 'eau de soller'.

Great video Alex beautiful places brilliant great bus service can't beat it thx for sharing👍
  • We travelled to Soller and port de Soller from Can Picafort over the mountains and it was stunning❤️⛰️. We had planned on using buses on our holiday but I have chronic health issues and heavy rain was forecast so we did treat ourselves to a hire car but buses were very accessible if needed. We loved Soller and port de Soller they were beautiful places and the tram was so lovely to see. Port de Soller reminded us of Positano in Italy it was so pretty. We did want to visit Valledemossa and Deia but sadly ran out of time so they are on our list for our next visit. We loved Mallorca and would love to live there some day. I would go back tomorrow if I could. Thanks for the great vlog Alex it was such a treat and a joy to watch. ❤️

Thanks for an informative and enjoyable tour! Public transport is clearly the way forward for the Island, so I hope the authorities act to limit car access and parking as so-called "personal convenience" impacts negatively on the atmosphere of the various towns, ports and villages. There's also the issue of tourist numbers which requires management. The Isles of Scilly in the UK limit tourists by linking visitors to the available accommodation. This seems to work! Thanks. 😎
  • Great vlog Alex. Will be very helpful for anyone visiting these areas 👍

Thanks for a lovely video. We did a similar trip last year using public transport. So many beautiful places. Port de Soller was my absolute favourite ❤
