Props to Fuego, not many people are okay with being used for helping boost other talents, but this guy pulls it off well, and judging by the 7-34 2021 record he's willing to take the humility. Not appreciated enough

This was a perfect debut for Hook. I love that he was announced as "He is Hook", just like when Taz would be announced as "This is Taz"

This was the moment of the week. His entrance, his attitude, his skill, his dad calling the match. Fuego was the perfect dude to put him over for his debut.

Dude presents himself like a star and he's talented. Definitely looking forward to seeing more.

Stuff like this is what I miss about wrestling. This was almost an MMA presentation. Theme music is good and fits him well. His attitude is great, not jumping up and down and hugging people, just business. In the ring it was a short match but he seems to have his basics down. And he's only like 22 years old. Tons of potential.

Can we just enjoy the fact that his dad got to call his son’s debut match? That’s special. Also, this kid has a future. He’s 22 and already has the athleticism and demeanor down. With all the great knowledge that he has around him and with smart booking and patience, he can get very far. I’m watching. Edit: oh wow, thanks for all the likes.

Being a dad myself, you can hear the emotion in Taz voice as his boy walks to the ring. Nearly cracks a time or two, good job Suplex God for raising a good kid!

Hook was one of the best kept secrets in wrestling and people wanna see what he’s got to offer in AEW and so far I’m highly impressed.

Hooks debut has to be one of the best in recent memory. Has his old man's moveset but instead of having the "Survive if I let you" mantra he's more laid back and quietly confident

I always love when wrestlers use real grappling disciplines into their wrestling arsenals? It makes the matches look more realistic and makes everything looks so fluid! I love it!
