Im going to have nika (islamic marriage) in Dubai in 2024 , I'm a revert (have converted to islam in 2022) , have been in Dubai on few occasions but seriously,have no clueeeee where to start planning that wedding.. so your video is such a help! Thank you ! Question : how long before tha actual marriage did you "book" the date for Nika in court? Was it year in advance?

The way marriage in Islam is carried out is so beautiful. Where both man and woman have to give consent so no forced marriages. And how the woman is protected at all times from exploitation as her guardian is there in case the man is trying to exploit her and how she can get a divorce at any time during the marriage. On top of that, the women get the Mahr (dowry). But of course nothing too extravagant for that.

Where does one get this letter? Do we bring it from the US first if we are in the United States does anyone know? I can’t seem to find any information on where to get this letter. Especially if father cannot go
