šŸ„’ ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, Iā€™m Sonny! Iā€™m from the US but Iā€™ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  • 10/10 to this dude for not going ā€œEwwwwwwwwā€ at anything. He respected everything they did and joined in with anything they did without missing a beat.
  • @taylorburtis
I am so thankful people like you still exist. Zero judgement towards other cultures, food and traditions. You show them so much respect, and you are an inspiration! Everyone should treat other human beings like this!
  • @tangroro
The best part of this channel is that Sonny does feel uncomfortable and even disgusted at times, but he never judges or criticizes it, he just respect the different culture
  • @user-ns3vs3bp3e
Itā€™s nice that he brought up the significance of giving him food. When you spent hours hunting and donā€™t know what youā€™ll get tomorrow or if youā€™ll even get anything tomorrow sharing your protein is a big deal
  • I love the phrase "this were you can find humanity in its purest form"
  • Master Sonny, please dont ever get tired on letting us know about food and culture around the globe. May the FOOD FORCE continue to guide you. Thank you....from the Philippines
  • @Nobody....uh444
I'm a Jamaican and as our African culture, No hate toward our Africans so thank youā¤šŸ™
  • I am proud of this content creator... No discrimination whatsoever ... AFRICA TO THE WORLD šŸŒŽā¤ļøšŸ”„šŸ¤

Give that man from the tribe who's explaining with all the animal sounds an award šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ’ššŸ’ššŸ’šāœŠšŸæ
  • I love how the young man ā€œnarratesā€ and makes the sounds to imitate the noises the animals make
  • @KevinRAAMAAAGE
The Hadza tribe seems so very kind and welcoming. You can tell they are very proud to show people how they live and share their ways of life. People going and seeing them and recording their stories and way of life is a good thing. More people need to know about them. They have truly unlocked the ey to a happy life. Everyone is smiles and thankful to be on top of the dirt
  • @vanders1200
that fella was the most enthusiastic and unintendedly humorous i think he's ever interviewed , i really enjoyed this!
  • The fact that I'm laying in my bed, watching this on my phone while eating a bag of chips and there's still cultures out there living like this is insane to me.
  • I appreciate how it's not all about trying the food and how they don't sugarcoat it, massive respect to him.
  • "The way they live here, it continuously blows my mind. One thing that shocks me the most is just how kind and giving everyone here is. I don't think that there is anything that I could do to offend the people here, not that I would want to. But whether it's food, whether it's just asking them to wait a second, or wait for us so that we can catch up to them, everyone's very patient. I've never seen any moment of frustration, anger, or anything like that among anybody here." That's exactly what it's like to not live in a FABRICATED WORLD where lies and psychosis rule! Organic living versus synthetic living. The Hadzabes may not be materially rich but they have a wealth of peace. Most people in America want more material wealth but they have little peace.
  • @prettyfa
I really appreciate the fact that the commenters who watch Sonnyā€™s content donā€™t post ignorant and disrespectful opinions like on other platforms. Itā€™s quite refreshing to interact with a group of people with an open mind and a respect for other cultures, even if it is sometimes a bit uncomfortable! You guys are awesomeness!!!!
  • One of the best documentary done by an YouTuber. Sonny is a notch above all. I love Andrew Zimmern - watching his shows is so satisfying - but, thereā€™s now a new Chief in town. Sonny is among the giants now. šŸ‘
  • @redpool1673
As an indigenous person (Bidayuh) from Borneo, I find this Branda (our word Caucasian person) very respectful towards indigenous cultures. It's almost universal around the world amongst tribal cultures to offer the best part of a meal to our guests. And I'm glad he didn't turn anything they offered down out of respect to them. Hats off to you sir.
  • @Urboyben9
People saying that killing animals for food is is animal cruelty is funny cuz their probably eating McDonaldā€™s rn šŸ˜‚
