A note for Apothecary White's tap ability, it only taps the Foods, so since you're not spending them to gain life (you need to tap them for that, hard to tap a tapped permanent), you'll be stockpiling more and more Food to incrementally snowball Human tokens.

I detect this will be on the 2024 list of most forgotten products of the year. Don’t get me wrong, looks fun but at $80 I don’t see many people picking this up. Guess it’s way better than last years commander master decks at the very least.

It should be noted that Apothecary White also pairs very well with Pippin, since you can tap the food to make a bunch of tokens then sac the food and give those tokens +3/+3 and haste

Another cool thing with Peacock is that you can sacrifice treasures that give you mana + trigger when "when you sac a clue" abilities. This probably makes many infinite combos possible and at the very least it makes treasures even better.
  • @MrShinyObject
Suppressor Skyguard is really funny because a lot of players are going to attack you just to get attack triggers and you can just not block. You can make deals like that.

I really hope you can't get duplicate "jumpstart" packs in that box.
  • Weird thing, I rarely experience explicit parasocial relationship stuff with mtg content creators, but Tomer played my commander deck on a Cardmarket video, and I was immediately like "my buddy! Long time no see!" Crazy how much one can create bonds with mtg, and even though we think it's about buying a bunch of product and expressing oneself through the medium of the game, maybe sharing, borrowing and exchanging cards was the real bonding part all along! Never thought about it this way... Bodes well for my edh cube! XD

there is a card you forget about that goes HARD with Senator Peacock: 500 year diary. since all your artifacts are clues, your diary is now a tolarian academy!

Unruly Krasis could really overperform in a +1/+1 counters deck, because the BASE power and toughness of the other creature become the TOTAL power and toughness of Krasis, which means the +1/+1 counters stack across both Krasis and that other creature.

I love the flavor of the type line: "Clue Equipment" Chef's kiss

I’m not sure how feasible an engaging video on it would be, but clue is interesting, for sure.

I’m trying Apothecary White in Thalisse. You attack and make tokens, then tap those creatures to make more tokens, then Thalisse makes even more tokens.

The investigate land cycle is, functionally, a set of upgraded arch of orazcas. Arch is a card that actually sees some play, particularly in brawl, so these will see play in commander, just not as staples. Only certain decks want the effect- namely the ones running seedborn muse.

I'm wondering if Apothecary White has potential in my Karlov Voltron deck. Karlov can easily swing to make a food, she's sized enough that she can probably swing for the second food, and it shouldn't be too much harder for me to swing in at the last player to get the third food. From there, I can either start to build a board of tokens or cash in Foods to push Karlov up a few extra points and maybe hit someone for commander damage lethal.
  • Watery grave art is excellent. I’m splitting cost of clue game with others so we can try it together

Thanks for the info Tomer! Looking to pick up one or two of these 👀 Do we know when the precons are going to be revealed?

Lonis, Genetics Expert was clearly designed to get recent buyers of the Hakbal of the Surging Soul merfolk deck excited.
