Fourth Save This World EP tune. A very dark one this time. I started this song much longer after the mix was out, meaning I've never shown it to anyone until this release. It was my most painful song to make, due to feeling crushed under the weight of finishing things. I consider this, by far, my darkest song. after watching the first three (stw, how, war) and putting this on, i didn't expect it to be this big. then the drop hit. when the track ended, i was just sitting in silence. for 15 minutes or longer. i don't remember having this kind of reaction from a single track, it's something i'd experienced after watching a movie/series/episode or a live show (and that is hours long). maybe the context of the previous three, contrast and overall situation made it so overwhelmingly numbing...

also the colours of this background remind me of some really old hubble pictures of deep space that were always tinted red from the red shift. even if it wasnt meant to be interpretted as this and you were meant to look at a certain girl in the middle of your screen, i think the vibe i feel from this cover art fits this melancholic piece really well
