    I can't get enough of this kid. The Internet is full of child prodigies--most of them on guitar--and there's endless monotonous videos of them noodling around playing a million notes a second in their rooms, completely devoid of any context. This, this right here, is the real test. This kid isn't a party trick; he's an actual musician. Laying down an actual piece of music with other people, serving that sound with technique and feel and putting the total creation above your own ego—I mean the kid's got good technique, but he's got something 1,000x more important than that. He's actually making music. I don't care how many mindless two-handed tapping notes most of the guitar shredders can play in a second. I would not pay money to hear them do that live. I would absolutely pay money to go see this kid live. That's the difference.
