"400 years of racial injustice in a police department." For a city that have been around for how long?
-
8 months later in Seattle: 300 cops left the job, response time went up to an hour and the cops won’t be coming for minor crimes. Seattle city council needs to go.

"Defund the police" is a statement you'd usually hear from a criminal.
-
This video didn’t actually answer any questions of what defunding will actually yield.
-
That first woman they interviewed is probably the most level headed and fair person in the whole video. That "journalist" is clearly biased.
-
I’m old enough to remember when Vice was credible.
-
"Give us what you owe us." Does anyone else see the problem with that mentality?
-
0:40 Vice casually refrains from mentioning WHO exactly shot those two black men. Hint, it wasn’t the police. Seriously 🤦♂
-
This video sounds more like a statement than actual journalism/reporting.
-
Seattle was amazing & so was Portland up until the late 90s. It's heartbreaking to see the West Coast become what it is today.
-
Whoever supports defunding the police will regret it when no one shows up while they're in danger
-
"When everyone is unhappy it means I'm doing something right." - American Politics 2020 This country deserves better.
-
"Are you just an apologist for the cops?". One of the stupidest questions I've heard. Vice hire please some good reporter/host.
-
I did a road trip across the country during late summer 2020. Seattle was the worst place I went to by far. The city was overrun with homeless people, addicts and crime. There were discarded heroin needles and feces in the street. I was shocked and disappointed
-
“No cops, no prison”??? “What picture will they use on the news.” Wow privileges.
-
So what you're really trying to say is that it's not working out in Seattle.
-
This reporter is clearly biased and shouldn't be interviewing people he get's mad any time someone has a different opinion then him and throws out a snide comment in return
-
“When everybody’s unhappy, you probably did something… right” Well that pause tells us she’s not a complete psychopath. Even her conscience had to stop for a second
-
Wait, what defunding makes the city less safe? Huh imagine that.
