HOW TO PARK A CAR IN A PARKING SPACE FOR BEGINNERS

I’m really frustrated with parking it makes me not want to drive

My fear of stall parking outweighs my motivation to go places. The time sensitivity aspect of parking in a busy area is so scary to me. The thought of having to correct my parking even once when other people can see me is so humiliating for some reason.

It's so easy from the outside,but hard when you do it.

It's more frustrating when someone beside you is screaming at you, belittling you and telling you to "go go go" but when you press the gas, freaks out.

Man I hate parking I always end up too close to the line instead of being in the center I’m still learning but hey I will try that mirror tip aligning it to the parking line

I've never driven a car before, I'm just wondering how the heck do people park cars so perfectly in the middle of the lines when you don't have a full view of the outside

I took my driver's test back in December with my Kia Soul and I was pretty bad at parking. I could never seem to get the timing right. I watched this video and I park perfectly every time now, so thank you for the tips! 😊

Parking left—-> firstly left turn signal on, next stop the car when left mirror at the level of parking spot’s first white line , after this turn the steer wheel all the way to the left then left the break paddle slowly

I had pretty bad anxiety while driving for ages and even though I've mostly gotten used to the main roads/highways now, I still find myself avoiding a lot of places because of the parking. I have messed up parking so many times that the thought of doing it alone just really freaks me out - and whenever I ask my family they always say "it's instinct, we don't really think about doing it" which...doesn't really help me haha. Having something step by step like this is just what I need.

You're the first parking tutorial I've come across mentioning to line my wheel to the line if driving an SUV! I've been lining up to the mirror all the time I've been practicing and I never had enough space, I'd always need to immediately correct. I've been very frustrated that it takes me so many tries to park but I'm doing my best to not give in!

I am so thankful I found this video! No driving instructor ever explained parking like this. Makes it so simple! Happy to report I passed my driving test and parked perfectly too thanks to this method!

17- year old trying to get their license here, and let's just say my parking is, well, questionable at best. I never knew a technique or what to look for, and I am not the best at just "feeling what's right and having an idea" or "trusting my instincts" when it comes to the spatial awareness of the car. This is super helpful. Hope to get my license by the end of this summer. : )

Here is a simple tip. Alight your side mirror with the middle of the parking space before your desired parking spot, make full turn and stop when the csr is straight.

Thank you so much for this in depth explanation 🙏 I was trying to practice in an empty parking lot tonight but only made about 5 successful attempts. (I kept parking terribly, like my car would be completely at a slant or touching the other lot)I felt really low thinking I could never possibly learn , it felt way too difficult out of everything so far that’s the hardest part. Hopefully I can utilize these tips and they work for me 💜thanks again.
