Some Great Foreign coins. Christmas in February! This was a Very good Candidate for cleaning. It looks nice now under all that whatever! Love the Philippines.

Sometimes there really is no option but to clean some old coins. I've used an ultrasonic cleaner to shake off gunk from a few in the past. Never tried steam though.

Those Mexican pesos were silver plated to make them look good. I use acetone to remove glue and gunk from coins.
