Ms Cheatle was grilled by US lawmakers about procedures during Mr Trump’s Pennsylvania rally leading up to the shooting and reports of the Secret Service previously rejecting requests for additional security for the former president.
Members of the House Oversight Committee became frustrated with Ms Cheatle’s response to the questions.
