Hours after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the cabinet agreed to the closure, police raided the broadcaster’s office in Jerusalem on Sunday.
The broadcaster, which is headquartered in Qatar, called claims it was a threat to Israeli security a "dangerous and ridiculous lie".

I still remember a couple years ago when they raided Israeli human rights and legal aid nonprofits, simply for documenting atrocities committed against Palestinians and attempting to advocate for them.
