Coachella Tilt-Shift

Published 2010-10-05
Produced by Sara Eolin and Leo Nitzberg
Original music by Human (www.humanworldwide.com)
Composer: Matthew O'Malley
Music Producer/CD: Mike Jurasits
EP: Marc Altshuler
Notes from Sam O'Hare: "I wanted to portray a unique view of the incomparable Coachella experience. Following the crowds in the sunshine from arrival, camping, exploring the art in the arena, all the way through to the headliners at night, this film brings a miniature feel to this huge festival. Many thanks to Robbie and Tuna for operating the booms, and to everyone at Goldenvoice who helped me navigate the event to shoot."

This is how the next Sims online should be like.

The first few seconds i thought this was like little fake models in stop-motion haha
-
Almost 8 years later, I still find myself coming back to this. 21 going on 29. Music is timeless.
-
It looks like the people were made from clay or something, they didn't look real
-
Damn it's like an extreme real life version of Sims!
-

Wow. Simply, wow. I love how the director portrayed this concert with such a style that made everything feel so...... small. I love this art style and look forward to seeing more of it in the future! :D
-
I want to be there! One day I will live this fabulous and incredible festival!

It looks like stop motion with clay

I can replay my entire life in the course of those couple days while always running into people from my past and making new friends along the way. It's a corny notion but it gives me a sense of closure to the years gone by with this sense of escape.
