Besides cars going 50+mph on Capitol, 51st also intersects Fond Du Lac. There are always cars stuck in the intersection long after the light changes. Drivers use parking lanes as passing lanes on the right so cars just show up in the intersection.

Sherman Park neighborhood, that's where Mrs. Fink was murder in her home in the 50's. Since then, crimes including reckless drive have only increase. Read the book Milwaukee Memories by Jack Nusan Porter, he grew up in the Sherman Park neighborhood. People know the problem spots but don't anything, my sister died on near Beaver Dam WI at a known bad intersection, but it took 3 or 4 accidents in one week before DOT did anything.
