"How can i lower my screen time? - you already know how to do it, just do it" there's something called a d d i c t i o n... but yeah anyways here are my tips (that partly work): - set your screen to grayscale (or like some horrible eye destroying green) no colours = less attractive to the eye; horrible green colour = don't wanna look at it - physically seperate yourself from your phone (if you're studying, don't keep it in your room, put it in the kitchen/living room; if you're sleeping, don't keep it in your room -- get a cheap alarm clock) - turn off notifications - delete distracting apps (this will force you to download the app every time you want to use it) + log out of your accounts (this way you have to log in every time and it's really annoying) - maximise friction (friction = the time it takes you to do something --> if your phone is right in your pocket it'll take 1 movement to get it out, but if it's in the bottom of your bag which is at the other end of the room, it'll take several steps to get there etc) - ask yourself why you are using your phone so much (procrastination? Escapism? Tired?) - find other things to do instead (try doing things you enjoyed as a child, like drawing...) - try a challenge where you don't use your phone at all for a day (or more) -- it's easier to not start than it is to stop. - make your phone as unattractive as possible (maybe put a really embarrassing picture as your home screen so that you can't take it out in public or idk) - put an elastic around your phone (idk abt this one...) Can't think of more rn but try that for a start

I could say "Study videos are the best and you should spend all your time watching them" which would benefit me, but I keep it real because I care so much about you. My goal is to help you maximize your success in school and beyond with the most effective, efficient methods, so I hope you know I speak with love šŸ§” You're a real one if you stayed to watch the twist at the end where I explain when study videos ARE helpful! šŸ”„

Sorry Wamy we can't live without watching your videos šŸ˜¢

Nothing is hard until we start comparing ourselves with others, instead of putting up the work which we have decided to do.

Yo Amy, just wanna say, I really appreciate that you mention in your videos that youā€™re ā€œnot a geniusā€. Iā€™ve always struggled in school, and Iā€™d honestly get intimidated by those ā€œnaturally smartā€ kids who were always effortlessly getting straight Aā€™s while I was always struggling to just just keep my Cā€™s. Real talk it messed with my head so much in high school that I barely graduated. Youā€™re probably one of the most genuine ā€œlearning coachesā€ Iā€™ve seen cause youā€™re straightforward and empathize hard work over anything, which is something a normal (not genius) dude like me can understand. Iā€™m currently in college for nursing rn, and Iā€™m slowly gaining confidence with academics. Itā€™s still not easy, but itā€™s people like you and videos like this that keep me going (and slightly less intimidated by the ā€œnaturally smart peopleā€). Keep up the good work, youā€™re definitely helping a lot of us out here! šŸ™šŸ¼

I think this is the most helpful video yet, Iā€™m definitely gonna rewatch this, I feel like your examples really helped me realize where I was going wrong and the changes I can start making, thank you! Iā€™m gonna try to be my own coach starting with giving my affirmations a because on how Iā€™m going to accomplish them and valuing time more

Thank you! I appreciate the time and effort that went into making this video.
  • I am so grateful for your channel because now I am doing so much better in school than I thought I was capable of and that all started when I watched one of your videos. Thank you!
  • @Kyuudaimee153
Thank you so much! I discovered your channel because I had lack of concentration and study structure (i'm back at school since only couple of mouths, I stopped 4-5 years ago and it was hard to restart, I wanted to put all luck by my side) And your videos inspired me to find the study structure i wanted + the actions I maked! It's too early to see all the progress on paper (with grades), but in a couple of week i'll be sure. So i wanted to say thank to you for helping me. Take care (sorry for my english)
