The Why of Prayer | Vesta Layne Mangun

You guys may not even read this but my name Taylor. I currently go to Christian life church in Monroe Louisiana. Sister Mangun will be coming to our church to speak in October. I have been listening to her messages for the last six months to a year now and it has broken some things off of my life that I can’t even explain to you. It’s so strange loving someone so much that you’ve never met. But her voice has become echoed and a comfort in my home almost every day. I think God for Her obedience. I cannot wait to finally meet her. And try to tell her some of the things that she has helped me accomplish in my walk with Christ. I have been changed forever more and I’m just so grateful. When I heard about her accident a few weeks ago I cried and cried but I also knew in my spirit that there were still work to be done and that God had her in the palm of his hand.

I’ve been binge watching Miss Vesta for 2 weeks; her desire to see folks come to a saving knowledge of Christ is from her heart. No fluff, no fancy words; just a love for people. Her sense of urgency is something all Believers should have. Father Jehovah, let it start with me and my family....

Please pray for me and my kids..save us from evil attacks..bless us in All areas please.

Please pray for my unborn grandbaby. Doctors say something might be wrong. But I know the healer. Please bind and agree with me. In Jesus name.

I snatch my husband and children out of the pits of hell. I stand in the gap for their salvation, reference and deliverance. I shall not be moved! I come against every demonic spirit of sexual immortality, rebellion, pride and idolatry and I bind them in the name of Jesus, and petition them before the courts of Heaven to be judged. My God is a God of justice. I will, so HE will! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

LORD SAVE MY FAMILY AND THIS GENERATION

This is the 50th birthday gift the Lord Jesus gave me. I woke up and was just browsing videos on my YouTube page and came across this woman, Sister Vesta Mangun, for the first time in my life! Can you imagine!!!! I've listened to 2 of her messages already and its been an unblemished blessing upon my life. I want to download more of her messages (particularly in the late 1990s and early 2000s). I pray that God will help me and my family to finish well and strong in Jesus name. I hope to meet Sister Vesta in heaven someday to thank her personally for her uncommon and infectious zeal for Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ came to me in a vision when I prayed one day. I realized my sins. I repented and the next week God brought me and a woman together. She invited me to a church that prayed like this-Atlanta West Pentecostal Church. I’m SO GRATEFUL JESUS led me there and they prayed like you are talking about in this video. I had been to church faithfully for 18 years, but I had never heard or seen people pray like they did. And they did it every time that we met for church!!! OH IF children and teens could see and hear people pray like that every time they went to church in 2022!!!!

Its always a blessing hearing this woman of God. She speaks out of the heart and mind of God

I was feeling so discouraged and weary and I was asking God for an encouragement about my family this afternoon -- this is it -- this feels like a direct encouragement! If I'll do the possible, HE will do the impossible. I can keep going in prayer.

Lord I ask for God grace to send on the gap for my son who is drug addict and pray until that Dominic spirit of drug addict is broken I will give God on rest until this boy is served for Jesus and my husband restored back to God I give heaven no rest until my children are all served my family will not be lost in this sinful world please intercessors join me in prayers.

Sister Vesta Layne Mangun, in 2003 i was not living for The Lord. I was riding a dangerous fence! In my dream, I believe you stood in the gap for me, praying over and over, “in The Blood of The Lamb of God Jesus Christ!” All I have to say is, I believe, you were an intercessor for me in my dream! Thank you for being on fire for Jesus! Thank you for caring enough to pray for a sinner like me, riding a dangerous fence! Thank you Jesus for this woman of God! I love Jesus! When I saw you! I shouted praising The Lord Jesus! I love this message and I’m living proof, I feel like I needed to tell you. Amen! hallelujah Lord!
