This is SO key in today’s society! We glorify trustworthiness and trust over actually loving others as Christ requires us to. It’s a reminder we all need. God didn’t ask us to trust but He commanded us to love!

God is obligated to protect me. I trust God.

This has blessed me so much. I’ve gone such a challenging season in my marriage and things happened that caused broken trust. I had every reason to leave my marriage but God told me to stay. Through that I’ve learned to trust God to help me trust my husband. Sometimes you have to trust and forgive someone who doesn’t recognise their mistakes. It’s not easy but I choose to obey God. If you are going through a hard time in your life and trust has been broken, trust God to restore all the brokenness.

This is so good! Psalm 118:* It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man." My mother made my sister and I learn this when we were little girls and I didn't understand why she was so extra about this scripture. I didn't get it until my mid 20's. Now that I'm in my 40's I've received revelation after revelation...layer upon layer about what this scripture means. I don't even put trust in myself after meditating on this! All of my trust and confidence is in the love, promises, and finished works of JESUS CHRIST. For that reason loving people has gotten so easy. "WE ALL FALL SHORT!"

If we only obeyed God our lives would be less stressful. Thank you so much for this revelation about trust.
