Israel-Gaza: 400,000 residents ordered to leave Khan Younis

The Israeli military ordered around 400,000 residents to leave their homes for what it described as a humanitarian zone on the coast – an already overcrowded area which is being made even smaller.
The Israel defence forces accused Hamas of firing rockets at Israeli forces from Khan Younis. The latest bloodshed comes as Israel’s Prime Minister prepares to meet President Biden in Washington - where he'll also address Congress later this week.

As an Israeli I'm especially saddened to see children suffering this way. We need to talk about not just a ceasefire and not just the end of Hamas being able to threaten us, but real solutions with new leaders on both sides ready to build a lasting peace for both peoples so all of us can go on with our lives in peace and dignity and no more children on either side will suffer. Dear Peace loving Palestinians we are your cousins, we wish to have a future in peace and prosperity with you, let's find a way together.
